Geekowarriors is a small family run business based in Shropshire that covers on what at first glance seems to be a disparate range of subjects encompassing child care, decluttering & organisational therapy, cookery classes, woodcraft, permaculture design and forestry.
We use the Geekowarriors umbrella to run a range of micro-businesses covering the above subjects.
On the technology front we have expertise in both web software development – see our sister company Siftware for more information on this – and monitoring, metering and control systems for renewable energy installations.
The principles of Permaculture resonate deeply with us. We’re putting the theory into practice by creating then applying a permaculture design on our own newly acquired holding in the Shropshire/Wrexham border regions.
Linking into this is work on sustainable forestry for both ecological reasons, fuel and a source of local building materials as well as maximising the value-added uses for the timber utilising traditional green woodworking techniques.
